No Washing Room
D lived with his wife and his three children - two daughters and a son. The oldest daughter used her job to help support her family financially, and the younger one was studying to be a nurse, although her mother was worried about her prospects for marriage. Her daughter, now at university, was even provided with a laptop by the government school she attended.
Their bicycle had been stolen recently, but D’s wife did not think it was worth filing a police complaint. “How many times would I have to go to the police station and how much would that cost? I might as well buy a new bicycle.”
